Why this pairing is worth asking

Higher-protein meals are usually also larger, more fibrous, or slower to eat, and any of those could account for a fullness difference. This is the hypothesis where the confounder list is doing the most work, because the thing you changed is almost never the only thing that changed. Comparable meals matter more than many meals.

Calories, fiber, volume, eating speed, medications, and meal setting.
