Did completed journal check-ins coincide with a different clarity rating? A question template, not a result — and not a claim that this relationship holds for you.

Why this pairing is worth asking

Self-selection dominates this one. The days you have the time and inclination to write are already different from the days you do not, and that difference is the likeliest explanation for anything you find. The window needs both kinds of day in reasonable numbers, which is why a fortnight of unbroken journaling answers nothing.

What you would log

Journal completion plus a simple, consistently defined clarity rating.

How long to look

Two or more weeks with both journal and non-journal days.

What could explain it instead

Available time, baseline stress, privacy, work demands, and self-selection.

Name these before looking, not after. The protocol covers the rules every question shares — fixed definitions, both signals in the intended time order, and “unclear” as a valid answer.

How to read the result

Treat the result as a description of the days you journalled, not evidence that journalling produced the difference. Nothing about your journal text is analysed to produce this — only whether a check-in was completed.
