On days with more completely logged fluid intake, did perceived energy differ? A question template, not a result — and not a claim that this relationship holds for you.

Why this pairing is worth asking

This hypothesis has a measurement problem worth stating plainly: you are comparing what you *recorded*, not what you drank. Days when you were engaged enough to log carefully may also be days you felt better, which would produce an association with no causal content at all. Fluid intake is also strongly driven by heat and exercise, both of which independently affect how a day feels.

What you would log

Fluid log coverage plus a consistent energy rating.

How long to look

At least two weeks, with attention to logging completeness.

What could explain it instead

Heat, exercise, illness, sleep, caffeine, diet, and medical conditions.

Name these before looking, not after. The protocol covers the rules every question shares — fixed definitions, both signals in the intended time order, and “unclear” as a valid answer.

How to read the result

Read a result as a prompt to look at your logging habits first and your hydration second. Nothing here supports a daily intake target, and persistent low energy is a question for a clinician rather than a tracker.

Evidence class: Exploratory only. This is not a hydration prescription.

Wellness education, not medical advice. A personal association is never a diagnosis. Seek appropriate help for concerning symptoms, or if tracking has started to feel compulsive.
