Something not working, or just not sure how something is meant to work? Write to us. A real person reads every message.
To get you an answer on the first reply, it helps to include your device (for example iPhone 15 or Pixel 8), whether you're on iOS or Android, and the app version from Profile → Settings → About. A screenshot is worth a paragraph.
If you signed up with Google or Apple, use that same button rather than an email and password — accounts made through a social login don't have a password. If you used email, tap Forgot password on the sign-in screen. Still stuck? Email us from the address you signed up with and we'll sort it out.
Make sure you're signed in to the same account on both devices and that each has been online since your last entry. HealthMaxxing keeps working offline and syncs when a connection returns, so give it a moment after reconnecting. If an entry still hasn't appeared after a few minutes, email us and mention roughly when you logged it.
Subscriptions are billed by Apple or Google, not by us, so they're managed in your store account. On iPhone: Settings → your name → Subscriptions. On Android: Play Store → profile → Payments and subscriptions. Cancelling stops future renewals and you keep access until the current period ends.
Refunds are handled by the store that took the payment. For iOS, use reportaproblem.apple.com. For Android, use the Play Store order history. If the store turns you down and you think that's wrong, write to us and we'll do what we can.
Open Profile → Settings → Restore purchases while signed in to the same store account that made the purchase. If it still doesn't appear, email us — include the store you bought through and the approximate purchase date, and we can look it up.
Permissions have to be granted per data type. On iOS, check Settings → Apps → Health → Data Access & Devices → HealthMaxxing and confirm the categories you want are on. On Android, open Health Connect and check HealthMaxxing's permissions there. Historical data imports on a rolling window, so very old entries may not appear.
Check that notifications are allowed for HealthMaxxing in your phone's system settings, then confirm your reminder times in Profile → Settings → Notifications. Battery-saver and Focus modes can also hold them back.
You can remove individual entries any time, erase your HealthMaxxing data while keeping your login, or delete your account entirely. Our data deletion page walks through all three, including what to do if you can no longer sign in.
For anything about how your data is stored, used, or removed, email privacy@maxxing.health. You can also read our Privacy Policy, our Consumer Health Data Privacy notice, and the data deletion guide.
HealthMaxxing helps you notice patterns across your own body and mind. It is not a medical device, and nothing in the app is medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. If you have a health concern, please talk to a clinician. If you are in crisis or thinking about harming yourself, contact your local emergency number or a crisis line right away — in the US you can call or text 988.
